Our Redeemer LivesJoin us on Sunday mornings starting at 9:00 for our youth and adult groups. Our morning service starts at 10:45.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.
(Romans 8:28-30 ESV)

Each week we will be exploring the Doctrine of Salvation (Soteriology) through the traditional, reformed, Ordo Salutis (Order of Salvation = Latin).

The Ordo Salutis is the theological doctrine that deals with the logical sequencing of the benefits of redemption as we are united to Christ which are applied to us by the Holy Spirit. This first thing to remember is that we must never separate the benefits (regeneration, justification, sanctification) from the Benefactor (Jesus Christ). The entire process (election, redemption, regeneration, etc.) is the work of God in Christ and is by grace alone.

The Ordo Solutis in reverse order:

  • Glorification
  • Perseverance
  • Sanctification
  • Adoption
  • Justification
  • Conversion
  • Regeneration
  • Calling
  • Election
