For Christ and His Kingdom
Jesus has given us our instructions to go to the ends of the earth, making disciples of all nations. There is so much to do, and it seems as if there is so little time to get it done.
Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work. Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest.” (John 4:34-35 ESV)
As a small church, we have big plans, many needs, and few resources. If you have the heart, the time, and the desire to serve, we can use your help. The local church is the ordained means that God has chosen to change the world. In many ways the local church is instrumental in the design of God’s mission. There are many areas of ministry in our church that could use the help of a person like you. We cannot accomplish this task on our own. We need others to help pitch in and join us in this mission.
And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. (Luke 10:2 ESV)
Take a look around and see what we are trying to do. Pray that God might equip you and make it possible for you to be part of this ministry. Pray that others would join us in this effort.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (John 1:5 ESV)
With our eyes wide open we can see that there are great needs around us. We reach out to the world to share what God has done for us, because we love Him.
Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love. (Ephesians 4:15-16 ESV)
We could use your support, your talents, your gifting, your time, your heart, your friendship, your effort, and your hand to help us with this task. If you can sing, lead us in song. If you can lead, help us to follow. If you can teach, help us to learn. If you can serve, help us with God’s ministry. May the Lord Jesus guide you, lead you, and bless you.
